Jeonbuk Province announced that it has connected a total of 48,000 people to farms, including 20,000 idle workers in surrounding cities, for six months from March to September this year as a "farm food city-farm win-win plus job project."
The project is a system to alleviate the chronic shortage of rural manpower by providing transportation costs and equipment necessary for agricultural work to urban residents who are not engaged in economic activities or looking for work.
