Novelist Han Kang was a young writer who received the most attention in our literature with poetic sentences and in-depth world awareness.

Han Kang, who majored in Korean literature in college, first debuted as a poet in 1993.

The following year, he took his first step as a novelist when his novel [Red Anchor] was elected in the New Year Literature of the Seoul Newspaper.

Then, in 1995, he released a novel collection [Yeosu's Love] and began to concentrate on his writing career as a full-time writer.

In 2005, he won the Lee Sang Literary Award at the age of 30 for his novel Mongo Banjeok, and was considered the most prominent writer of Korean literature.
