Actor Yoo Tae-oh celebrated novelist Han Kang's Nobel Prize in Literature by borrowing some scenes from the movie "Fast Lives."

Yoo Tae-oh posted a congratulatory message announcing the Han River's Nobel Prize in Literature on social media today (11th).

In addition, he also posted some scenes of "Fast Lives" in which he starred. Actress Greta Lee plays Nora, who spent her childhood in Korea in the play, saying that "Koreans don't win the Nobel Prize for literature" as a reason to immigrate to Canada. Since then, Nora has gone on to become a full-time writer and dreams of a Tony Award.

Yu Zhao starred alongside Greta Lee in Fast Lives. Under the line, "Koreans cannot win the Nobel Prize for Literature," he wrote, "Why didn't you stay in Korea?"

Seven months after the release of the "Fast Lives" line, which was released in Korea in March, it has faced the result of a reversal.

Earlier on the 10th (local time), Han Kang became the first Korean writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature. This is also the first time an Asian woman has received the Nobel Prize for Literature.

In a live broadcast, the Swedish Academy selected Han Kang as the winner of this year's Nobel Prize for Literature and said, "Han Kang reveals the fragility of human life by confronting historical trauma and invisible domination in his work. He has a unique perception of the connection between the body and soul, the living and the dead, and has become an innovator of modern prose with a poetic and experimental style."

It is the second time in 24 years that a Korean has won a Nobel Prize after the late former President Kim Dae Jung, who won the Peace Prize in 2000.
