South Korea-Australia Summit to "expand cooperation in defense and supply chain"

During his visit to Laos, President Yoon Suk Yeol held a summit with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Norman of Albanese and agreed to develop partnerships in defense, defense, supply chain and economic security.President

Yoon said he is happy that high-level exchanges are actively taking place between the two countries and hopes that South Korea and Australia, which share values, will deepen communication and cooperation based on their "comprehensive strategic partnership."

Prime Minister Albanese also evaluated President Yoon's leadership for peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region and said that Korea and Australia should cooperate to strengthen special solidarity among similar countries.
