The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) said today that 468,996 people have received the COVID-19 vaccine out of 10.30,592 people aged 65 and over.
Those eligible for COVID-19 vaccination are high-risk groups such as those aged 65 or older, immunocompromised people aged 6 months or older, hospitalized at infectious-vulnerable facilities, and residents.
People over the age of 65 can be vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza at the same time, with 95.9% of those vaccinated against COVID-19 having received the flu vaccine.
