Harris, who is visiting Arizona, a rival state, told a Jewish event that Iran is a dangerous force causing instability.
Harris said she would never allow Iran to secure nuclear weapons and said the preferred route to that was diplomacy, but that all options were on the table.
Vice President Harris also pointed out that Trump did nothing when Iran and its proxies attacked the U.S. military in the past, and that he did not hold Iran accountable during Trump's tenure.
He also criticized Trump's withdrawal from the nuclear deal without any plans, leaving Iran's nuclear program unrestricted.
Harris reaffirmed her commitment to defense aid to Israel, stressing that as president, she will always work to ensure the safety of Israelis in the United States and around the world.
