Reuters said Hezbollah had been paralysed for days after the death of its supreme leader, Hasan Nasrallah, on April 27, but three days later it had established a new operational situation room.
Since then, Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon have responded to Israel in an orderly manner, sources have claimed, thanks to their functioning in the Israeli offensive.
"The underground tunnels we have built over the years are the basis of the fight," Hezbollah field commander said, adding that it is now in a long-term war of attrition.
The Israeli think tank "Alma" evaluated that Hezbollah's preparations were well made, saying that the Hezbollah command system had been damaged, but that its ability to attack had not disappeared.
Andreas Krieg, a security expert at King's College London, also analyzed, "Hezbollah can strike Israel with rockets and has ballistic missiles."
