Democratic U.S. presidential candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, appeared on the cover of the U.S. fashion magazine Vogue about a month before the presidential election.

On the digital cover of the October issue of Vogue, released on Vogue's website, Harris appeared in a dark brown suit and a purple satin blouse.

The pictorial, which was released less than a month before the presidential election day, is interpreted as an attempt to imprint the image of a charismatic leader and strong presidential candidate on voters.

CNN pointed out that Vice President Harris is taking a comfortable and preconceived "power pose," or confident posture, in the pictorial.

Harris's Vogue cover photo is said to have changed significantly from Harris' first Vogue cover image, which revealed a casual look three years ago.
