An aircraft seen as the latest Russian stealth drone "S-70 Ahotnik" has been shot down by an ally in eastern Ukraine.

The BBC and the US military media TWZ Warzone reported on the 5th that the S-70, which is about to be mass-produced this year in Donetsk Province in eastern Ukraine, was shot down by a missile fired from the Russian fighter Sukhoi-57.

It is not clear why Russian forces have dropped their secret weapon, the S-70, by their own hands.

However, when the S-70, which was unable to be controlled due to radio disturbances or breakdowns, entered Ukrainian airspace, it is speculated that Russia may have decided to destroy it to prevent it from falling into the hands of the enemy.

The S-70, a large drone weighing more than 20 tons and with a range of 6,000 kilometers, is known to have been developed with a manned/unmanned complex combat system in mind that performs missions together with Sukhoi-57.
