A major explosion at a gas station in the Russian Republic of Chechnya killed nine people.

The explosion was powerful enough to send a large fuel tank far away.

A large fuel tank flies tens of meters out like a piece of paper.

A large explosion occurred at a gas station in Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic of Russia.

People who are surprised by the sudden accident are busy avoiding themselves.

The site of the explosion is simply Pungbi Baksan.

The gas station facilities were broken to the point where it was hard to find a trace, and all the cars were burned down.

The surrounding buildings are also not intact due to the explosion shock.

Four people, including two children, were killed in the accident.

Five people were also injured, local authorities said.

After the fire was put out, authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, says anyone responsible for the explosion will be brought to justice.

On the 27th of last month, a massive explosion at a gas station in the Republic of Dagestan near Chechnya also killed 13 people.
