The People's Power filed a complaint with the National Assembly's Special Committee on Ethics against Rep. Yang Moon-seok of the Democratic Party of Korea, who expressed the performance of Korean traditional musicians as a "gisaeng house."

The Democratic Party also pointed out remarks by Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo, who claimed that "the nationality of our ancestors in the Japanese colonial era is Japan," and some point out that they raise eyebrows with remarks made by the National Audit Office that go against public sentiment.

Along with Yang, the ruling party filed a complaint with the Ethics Committee against Rep. Jang Kyung-tae, who said, "It is pathetic to protect the prosecutor's bottom" during the Judiciary Committee's parliamentary inspection.

He criticized that the lawmakers themselves destroyed the dignity of the National Assembly with low-level remarks that cannot be considered by lawmakers, and that punishment must be made.

The Democratic Party of Korea, which has already referred lawmaker Kim Young-bae to the party's ethics court, has not taken a particular stance on the other two lawmakers' remarks.

The Democratic Party, however, pointed out that ruling party figures are making "absurd remarks."
