In the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, the ruling and opposition parties clashed over the crime investigation office of high-ranking government officials investigating the receipt of luxury bags by Kim Gun-hee and allegations of poll by Myung Tae-kyun.

People's Power lawmakers said that considering the background of the launch of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit and the bias of the investigation, they question whether the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit will survive, and argued that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit should be abolished now.

He also asked if it was a cooperative relationship with the Democratic Party of Korea and criticized that the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which was said to be the Democratic Party's High-Reading Investigation Office, was good at one thing because it was a confidential leak in the investigation.

On the other hand, opposition lawmakers, including the Democratic Party of Korea, urged the government to set up an investigation team dedicated to Kim Gun-hee and seize and search the presidential office in Yongsan, saying it is time for the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to act decisively.

In addition to the allegation that President Yoon Suk Yeol received a 360 million won poll as a bribe from Mr. Myung, he insisted that the investigation should also be conducted on Mr. Myung's alleged manipulation of public opinion.
