Mayor Oh responded to a question from Wi Sung-gon, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea, at a parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee at Seoul City Hall.
He then admitted that he did not do enough to manage the grass, but said that the grass was damaged more severely this year due to the heat wave, and that he would install various devices next year, including cooling fans, to ease the heat.
In response to the criticism that the Seoul Metropolitan Government used only 120 million won in management expenses to receive 8.3 billion won in rental income from the stadium, he said he has set aside more budget for next year.
