The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office today (15th) indicted Oh on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and summarily indicted Kim and Hwang, former and current baseball players who handed over drugs to Oh.
In addition, three people who participated in the provision of drugs but were not guilty were suspended from prosecution on the condition that they lead the probation office and nine others on the condition that they complete the training.
Oh is accused of receiving 2,365 tablets of steelnox and Xanax, medical drugs, 86 times from 14 people, including baseball players, between May 2021 and March 2021.
Oh was found to have used his status as a captain or senior member of his club to demand that he be prescribed sleeping pills by swearing and threatening younger juniors or players who come and go to the first and second teams.
Earlier, Oh was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in the first trial on charges of taking habitual drugs, and is facing a sentence in the first trial on charges of taking methamphetamine.
