The Supreme Court ruled that an accident that occurred while working on a tractor cannot be regarded as a traffic accident.

The Supreme Court says it rejects the appeal of Mr. A, who is accused of professional manslaughter.

In March last year, A was put on trial on charges of injuring a victim who was teaching him how to use a used tractor from a man in his 70s while he was working to overturn the floor of the discussion.

The first trial court ruled that A had caused a traffic accident during the "movement" of the tractor, and that the victim expressed his intention not to punish him.

However, the second trial court sent back the first trial ruling, saying that it was not a "traffic accident" as an accident occurred while using a tractor, not a "movement," and the Supreme Court also saw no problem with the judgment.

Under the Special Act on the Handling of Traffic Accidents, the accused may not be punished only if the accident vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance or if the victim does not want to be punished.
