Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court held the fourth trial of a man in his 20s accused of murder today (17th) and disclosed the results of the psychiatric evaluation.
The prosecution explained that A was diagnosed with schizophrenia in the past, but continued to receive treatment and was able to control his behavior at the time of the crime, and the lawyer emphasized that he committed the crime accidentally amid low cognitive function and extreme confusion.
Mr. A was put on trial for killing his girlfriend by wielding a weapon at an apartment complex in Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do late at night on June 7.
