Korean drawing artist Shinae Im will hold her first solo exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.

This exhibition will be held from the 30th to November 5th at the SRR Project Space in Tokyo, Japan, under the title 'i'm SHINAE (welcome to) DIBUJANDO @ TOKYO'.

The temporary artist has expressed his life through the process of creating and drawing new in everyday life, and this exhibition is expected to be a place to confirm his worldview and the scalability of his work. The artist

was greatly inspired by Tokyo's nature and the cycle of people's lives, and he prepared for this exhibition. It contains the artist's philosophy of wanting the audience to return to their childhood through the work and feel a sense of calmness and joy in their daily lives for a while.

In particular, his new work and works using various media will be unveiled in this exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is "Imcity World," which is conducted in a way that shows the process of building an independent world view beyond the work of drawing in everyday life.

As a result, you can see works using various media such as dolls and craft works as well as drawings drawn on canvas, which is expected to be an opportunity to get a glimpse of artist Lim's creative world from various angles.

In addition, the Tokyo exhibition is an extension of the "DIBUJANDO" project, which began in 2023, and was previously held in Seoul, Italy, Florence, and Barcelona, Spain. "DIBUJANDO" means "sketch" in Spanish, and the author once explained, "I want to share my love and comfort for the little things inside the canvas." The artist

draws a picture as if a bowl is filled with rainwater, he said. Drawing or making something for an artist is very natural in the process of pouring out life. I hope that everyone will visit without any burden, see the work, return to their childhood, and feel comfortable and enjoyable for a while," he said.
