The overseas migration report window is installed in the integrated civil service office of the Overseas Korean Office in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
Officials at the integrated civil service office said the damage is mainly caused by companies recruiting or arranging migrants in fraudulent ways, companies that damage national prestige due to violations of laws and regulations in countries subject to migration, and demanding unfair charges with false exaggerated advertisements or false information.
An official from the civil service office also explained that the list of registered overseas migrant carriers can be found on the Overseas Korean Support Service on the website of the Overseas Korean Administration (oka.go.kr ).
An official from the Overseas Korean Office said that it is operating an overseas migration damage reporting window to strengthen communication with civil petitioners regarding overseas migration and to more actively seek solutions in the event of difficulties.
