Police have launched a forced investigation into issuer officials in connection with Happy Money gift certificates, which have been suspended in the aftermath of Timon and Wemakeff's settlement delays.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's financial crime investigation team raided the residence of Happy Money INC officials, the issuer of gift certificates, from 9 a.m. today (17th).

Buyers of Happy Money gift certificates sued Ryu Seung-sun, CEO of Happy Money INC, for fraud, claiming that the purchased gift certificate was not refunded and the use was suspended.

Earlier last month, the police also raided the Happy Money INC headquarters and its affiliate, the Korea prepaid card office.
