Court "Government to disclose list of companies with major industrial accidents last year"

A court ruled that the government should disclose the list of companies that suffered from major industrial accidents last year to civic groups.

The Seoul Administrative Court today (17th) ruled in favor of the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by the Information Disclosure Center for a Transparent Society against the Minister of Employment and Labor to cancel the denial of information disclosure.

In March last year, the Information Disclosure Center requested the Ministry of Employment and Labor to disclose information on the current status of major industrial accidents two years ago.

However, after the Ministry of Employment and Labor refused to say it was information that could affect the investigation and trial, the center filed an objection suit.
