Last year, Cha filed a ruling against the prosecution's initial investigation team prosecutors on charges of special dereliction of duty, saying the prosecution had ignored the investigation of former Vice Minister Kim, and objected to the acquittal of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.
