After Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People's Power, made three demands to resolve the issue of First Lady Kim Gun-hee yesterday (17th), close aides also urged the president's office to resolve the issue.

In an SBS radio interview, Supreme Council member Kim Jong-hyuk stressed that the party should no longer be dragged around over the female issue at a time when the term of the Yoon Suk Yeol government is nearing half.

"There are many things to take care of, such as people's livelihood, security, and international circumstances, but Korean politics is mired in the swamp of Mrs. Kim," he said. "We need to raise our approval ratings for the other two and a half years to see hope in local elections and presidential elections."

Asked what "necessary procedures" Han referred to in a radio interview, Strategic Planning Minister Shin Ji-ho also hinted at the possibility that the appointment of a special inspector could be discussed at the presidential meeting with Han, citing an internal investigation into the presidential office.

The possibility of an additional vote to leave the independent counsel law is unpredictable, but it will depend on the results of the meeting alone and the presidential office's response to the three demands.
