The Korea Meteorological Administration issued heavy rain warnings at 1 p.m. in Taean, Dangjin, Seosan, and Ongjin, Incheon, and expanded heavy rain warnings to Ansan and Hwaseong in Gyeonggi Province from 2:50 p.m.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that the inflow of strong rain clouds from the West Sea is causing more than 30mm of heavy rain per hour, especially in some areas of the West Coast, such as Seosan, with very strong rain of more than 50mm per hour concentrated.
At the same time, storm surge warnings were issued for the west coast of Honam, including Gochang, Buan, Gunsan, and Gimje, and the west coast of Chungnam, including Taean and Seosan, where the level of seawater increased due to overlapping control periods.
