A thank-you letter was delivered to the police officer who found the lost bag at the festival ahead of Police Day on October 21.

According to the Daejeon Jungbu Police Station and others, A visited the "Daejeon Bread Festival" with her husband on the 29th of last month and forgot that she left her bag on the street for a while and left.

I realized this in 5 minutes and went to the scene, but the bag had already disappeared.

Discouraged because he thought he would not be able to find his bag, A reported the theft to the police station without much expectation.

Detective Kim Ji-yong, who received the case, focused on the closed-circuit (CC) TV investigation. When A disappeared after leaving his bag, he immediately caught B in his 20s running away with his bag.

Detective Kim, who caught B on the 8th after tracking his movement, recovered his bag and booked B on theft charges.

The bag was returned to the owner, A, and a thank-you letter written by A himself was recently delivered to the police station.

Mr. A said, "Thank you for finding my bag. If there are more people like detectives, I think it will be a beautiful Republic of Korea," he said.
