A new German fire station with state-of-the-art facilities was burned down in a fire.According to local media such as

D-Chite, a fire broke out at the Staalendorf Volunteer Fire Brigade building in Hesse, Germany, on the morning of the 16th local time.

The fire burned eight fire engines and a building, causing property damage of up to 24 million euros and 35 billion won in our money, with no casualties.

The fire station, which opened in January with more than 20 billion won spent, was not equipped with fire alarms or sprinklers because it was not mandatory.

Fire authorities say the fire is believed to have started in the lithium-ion battery of the emergency vehicle and no signs of arson have been found.

Norbert Fisher, president of the Hessen State Fire Brigade Association, said the fire department also needs to have fire alarms because there is a lot of electronic equipment, but the fire spread so quickly that it is questionable whether the alarms worked.
