Iranian President "Sinwar Fighting Heroically to the Last"

Iranian President Masud Pejeshikyan said Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar's "resistance to the Islamic faith community against Israeli occupation is unimpeded" in connection with the death.

"During his precious lifetime, martyr Sinwar was held as a brutal Israeli prisoner for many years, and then heroically fought to the end of his life," Fezeshikyan said in a statement in memory on the 18th local time, according to Iran's state-run IRNA news agency.

"Even if a hero is assassinated, the holy war to return freedom and liberation against aggression will not stop," Pejeshikyan said.
