White House "highly concerned by reports of North Korean troop dispatch"

Regarding the South Korean and Ukrainian governments' announcement that North Korea has sent troops to help Russia, the White House said it is "highly concerned."White House National Security Council spokesman Sean Sabet
said he was "highly concerned about reports of North Korean soldiers fighting on behalf of Russia," after prescribing that he could not confirm whether such reports were accurate when asked by domestic media.

"If North Korea joins Russia, it will discuss the meaning of this move with allies and others," he added.

"If Russia is forced to rely on North Korea for manpower, this is a sign of desperation, not of strength," Sabet said.
