Spokesman Kim Yeon-joo said in a commentary that the allegations of interference in nominations and manipulation of opinion polls added to the Kim Gun-hee Special Counsel Act, which was proposed by the Democratic Party of Korea for the third time, are intended to confiscate the ruling party headquarters.
He then asked if the ruling party unilaterally nominated a special prosecutor in connection with the money envelope case at the Democratic National Convention, and the special prosecutor raided the Democratic Party, would it be acceptable?
He also added that he hopes the Democratic Party will reflect on how the people will judge the political offensive, including the independent counsel, impeachment, martial law, and the White House, which have been constantly shouting in the 22nd National Assembly.
