Ruling party "North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia, irrational and unprofitable"

People's Power lawmakers from the National Assembly's National Defense Committee and Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee criticized North Korea's decision to send large-scale troops to the war in Ukraine to help Russia and urged the National Assembly to adopt a resolution against North Korea.

In a statement, they criticized North Korea's dispatch as a dangerous provocation and unprofitable irrationality to participate in Russia's war crimes in violation of international law.

He then pointed out that if he expected Russia to transfer key military technologies or provide strong weapons support in exchange for sending troops, this would be a fatal misjudgment.

He also urged North Korea to immediately stop participating in criminal activities, saying it is irresponsible leadership that makes innocent North Koreans who are suffering from economic collapse face stronger sanctions from the international community.
