Veterans Registration Certificate Aircraft boarding ID card recognized

The government will implement a new law that officially recognizes veterans' registration cards as valid identification cards when veterans board domestic aircraft.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it will announce legislation from tomorrow (22nd) to revise the Enforcement Rules of the Aviation Security Act, which will recognize a total of 16 types of new and old veterans' IDs as valid identification cards when boarding domestic flights.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said mobile veterans registration cards are recognized the same, making it easier and faster to board the aircraft.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has already instructed the airport corporation and airlines to recognize veterans' ID cards as valid IDs since the 1st of last month, but said it is a process to lay the legal foundation this time.
