President Yoon responded to a question from Rep. Cheon Ha-ram of the New Reform Party that the funds provided to North Korea as loans were more than 1.2 trillion won during the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Strategy and Finance Committee today.
Chun said that the copyright fees that South Korean broadcasters will send to North Korea have been deposited in the court of more than 3 billion won, and that legal measures such as seizure should be taken.
In response, Yoon said, "The withdrawal of vice ministers is a top priority for resuming inter-Korean dialogue," adding, "I don't know how effective the legal action will be, but I will consult with the Ministry of Unification."
