In the future, the two ministries plan to jointly utilize infrastructure related to forecasting information, including genes, and monitoring links between livestock infectious diseases and wildlife diseases to prepare for and respond to the influx of new infectious diseases into the country.
In addition, a joint epidemiological investigation to determine the cause of the livestock epidemic, the development and commercialization of African swine fever vaccines will be carried out together.
Until now, the Ministry of Environment has been preventing and managing wildlife diseases, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food has been preventing and managing livestock infectious diseases, and has formed a cooperative system related to African swine fever and avian influenza.
