The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family said it held a review committee on the implementation of child support and sanctioned 149 non-custodial parents who did not pay child support.

By type of sanctions, there are 115 cases of departure ban, 58 cases of driver's license suspension, and 4 cases of list disclosure.

The largest amount of child support debt was 274 million won, indicating that the average child support was not paid 58 million won.

A total of 1,814 people have been punished so far since July 2021, when sanctions were imposed.
