The Ecological Nuri Museum opened inside the Ansan Galdae Wetland in Sa-dong, Sangnok-gu, Ansan-si.

The Ansan Galdae Wetland Ecological Nuri Museum was built with a total floor area of 1,734.66㎡, with 8.1 billion won spent on state funds, municipal expenses, and special adjustment grants from Gyeonggi Province.

On the first floor, there are storage, wetland environment experience centers, permanent exhibition halls, augmented reality (AR) experience rooms, special exhibition rooms, wetland program rooms, and small libraries, and realistic video halls and multipurpose education rooms on the third floor.

The Ecological Nuri Museum plans to operate various education and exhibition programs for all citizens to participate in, including a wetland biological precision competition, biodiversity exploration competition, Ansan Galdae Wetland ecological photography exhibition, visiting national parks, and planned exhibitions of the Biological Resource Center.

In addition, in order to efficiently preserve native biological resources such as the excellent natural ecology and endangered species of Ansan Galdae Wetland, more than 100 biological resources such as wildcats will be stored in the storage and later applied for registration as a biological resource conservation facility with the Ministry of Environment.

Ansan Galdae Wetland is an ecological treasure trove of Ansan, where 12 endangered species such as golden frogs, spoonbills, otters, and wildcats live together.

The Ecological Nuri Hall is operated by the Ansan Environmental Foundation and is free of charge.

Mayor Lee Min-geun said, "We will support the Ansan Galdae Wetland Ecological Nuri Museum to establish itself as an ecological environment base facility representing Gyeonggi-do."
