Israel has attacked three financial institutions in Beirut linked to Hezbollah this time.

Hezbollah is believed to be financing the war through the agency and is trying to cut off its funding sources.

It is a non-profit financial institution that provides interest-free loans to Shiite believers under Islamic law.

Israel claims Hezbollah runs al-Qard al-Hasan like a bank, using it to finance it from avoiding Western sanctions.

The attack was also aimed at disrupting Hezbollah's financial network and undermining trust between Hezbollah and the Shiite community, it said.

Not only will it tighten the purse strings to make it difficult to continue the war, but it will also prevent future reconstruction and rearmament.

Meanwhile, the U.N. peacekeeping force in Lebanon condemned the Israeli military for deliberately tearing down observation towers and fences using bulldozers.
