An official from Yeongdeungpo-gu District Office in Seoul said that on-site due diligence will be carried out after receiving complaints that the officetel was used as a lodging facility.

Moon purchased an officetel near Yeongdeungpo Station in June 2021, and it was reported that he did not move in here and operated a lodging facility using a shared accommodation platform.Mr.
Moon is under investigation by the Jeju Provincial Police on suspicion of illegally operating an unreported lodging business in his own detached house in Jeju.
