In 2021, 300 billion won donated to children's hospitals in the name of the late former Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Kun-hee and his bereaved family has given hope to nearly 10,000 children and families over the past three years.

However, Lee's fourth anniversary event is expected to be quieter than usual amid the Samsung crisis.
