Middle Eastern countries have pledged not to give up territory and airspace to Israel's retaliatory attacks on Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said.

According to AFP, Minister Arakchi held a press conference during a visit to Kuwait on the morning of the 22nd local time and said, "All neighboring countries have promised not to use their territory and airspace to attack Iran."

Geographically, Israel must pass through the airspace of at least one country to strike Iran.

"We are closely monitoring the movements of U.S. military bases in the Middle East and are aware of all flights," Arakchi said.

The United States is stationed in neighboring countries surrounding Iran, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

"If Israel attacks Iran in any form, Iran will retaliate in the same form," Arakchi said.

On the possibility of Israel targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, he also said, "It is a huge international crime to attack a nuclear facility," adding, "We have the means and methods to defend it."

Amid speculation that Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran is imminent, Minister Arakchi is on a trip to the Middle East and is engaged in a diplomatic war.
