The People's Power Party Audit Committee has hinted at the possibility of expanding the scope of the fact-finding investigation in connection with the suspicion of "leaking the list of party members" involving Myung Tae-kyun.

The party's audit committee held its first meeting at the headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, and discussed the case of Kim Dae-nam, a former senior administrator at the president's office, who is suspected of reporting on Han Dong-hoon's attack.

Yoo Il-joon, chairman of the party's audit committee, told reporters that as long as we have tarnished the party's image and expressed concern to the public, we should check what the party can do to correct its discipline and reassure the people.

The committee members also agreed that strict measures or investigations are needed, adding that the scope of the investigation could be further increased in connection with Myung's alleged manipulation of opinion polls.

Kim Dae-nam said that he would be able to determine whether to file a complaint with the investigative agency of the former administrator Kim Dae-nam only after the investigation is completed.
