Police have caught a group of people who stole billions of investments saying they could make three or four times profit if the stock is listed.

They promoted unlisted stocks that were not likely to be listed through stock reading rooms and sold them at up to 300 times higher than their face value, according to the survey.

This is a place where telemarketing organizations used to use money bundles and even counting machines.

They lured the victims to an SNS stock reading room, saying they would guarantee high profits in the stock community or recover the stock damage.

It offered photoshop-manipulated returns or a small amount of unlisted shares from a real promising company, and after building trust, it encouraged investment, saying certain company shares would be listed.

He shared promotional articles such as the company's patent and various business plans, emphasizing that if it is listed, it can make three or four times more profit.

And we sold unlisted stocks with a face value of 100 won at up to 300 times inflated prices.

In this way, he received 5.5 billion won from 286 victims.

However, police believe they deceived the victims with stocks that are not likely to go public.

It was also found that the company's CEO, who was suffering from financial difficulties, distributed stocks and shared profits through a telemarketing organization introduced by a stock broker.

The victims were found to have invested as much as 200,000 won to 500 million won, but they did not suspect the crime when they received actual stocks after handing over the money.

Police have arrested five people, including a representative of an unlisted company, a stock broker and a representative of a telemarketing organization, on charges of fraud and other charges.
