Since the day before local time on the 22nd, Ukrainian forces have launched drone strikes at four ethanol plants in Yefremov and Ruskovsky in Tula province, south of Moscow.
Reuters and others say that they are all facilities that mass-produce ethanol, which is used as an explosive material, and that the factory's website produces "national strategically important goods."
Authorities in the Russian region say there were no casualties in the airstrikes.
Three people, including a child, were killed in a Russian drone strike in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumyju, Ukrainian authorities say.
Foreign media said Russia's large-scale nightly attack targeted residential areas and major infrastructure in Sumy.
Two people were killed in Russian shelling in Myrnograd, Donetsk Province, an eastern front battleground.
Ukraine's military says it detected 60 Russian drones in its airspace overnight and shot down 42 of them.
