Starting next year, the government will add transportation cards and Wi-Fi usage information to the crowd management system to accurately grasp the crowd density.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security, presided over by Minister Lee Sang-min, held a meeting to check the progress of the "comprehensive measures to reform the national safety system and innovation measures to respond to climate crisis disasters" and discussed such plans.

The government plans to analyze the data with transportation cards and Wi-Fi information, share it with each local government, and use it for safety prevention measures.

In addition, the number of information and communication technology platforms where artificial intelligence monitors wildfires 24 hours a day will be increased from the current 30 to 44 next year, and 256 more underground road access blocking facilities will be installed within this year.
