Cho told a media forum that North Korea could take advantage of the U.S. regime change to make major provocations for dramatic effects.
It also added that North Korea will weigh up to the last minute to maximize profits with the possibility of winning Trump's nomination in mind.
He emphasized that North Korea may be paying more attention to the U.S. presidential election than us, which has a solid foundation of the Korea-U.S. alliance.
Regarding the situation in the U.S. presidential election, Minister Cho said, "We are in a tight race so close that no one can predict the outcome now," and explained that even camp officials from both camps cannot guarantee victory.
