A man believed to be an active-duty soldier has been controversial for hosting a live TikTok broadcast in a living room (formerly the Home Office).

On the 22nd, several online communities posted a capture of the live broadcast in question under the title 'Real-time Army Recent State'.

The captured photo showed a man believed to be a soldier hosting a live broadcast on TikTok. The man also posed a salute to viewers in a new digital patterned military uniform that has been distributed since 2011.

Some pointed out that the background of the living room behind the man is like a set, but some netizens who said they recently were discharged from the military said that the living room seems to be right these days.

Internet users responded to the post by saying, "Is it insane to say TikTok live in the military?" and "There is no concept." In particular, there was a reaction to the rebuke, saying that the inside of the military, which must be protected, was broadcast live to the world.

Among them, there was also a dissenting opinion that "the U.S. military does both Instagram and TikTok while training, but only Korea is strict."

In July 2020, the Ministry of National Defense allowed mobile phones to be used in military units when it was not working hours. In 2022, some military forces also test-run a plan to carry a mobile phone all day, including work and time.
