The Yeongdeungpo-gu Office has asked the police to investigate allegations that Dahye, the daughter of former President Moon Jae In, engaged in illegal lodging business in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, following Jeju.

Yeongdeungpo-gu said it sent an official letter to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station today (23rd) asking them to investigate whether Moon's officetel is operating as an illegal accommodation.

An official from the district office explained that they visited an officetel owned by Moon near Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul at around 3 p.m. yesterday for an on-site inspection, but they could not confirm the accommodation business because the door was closed.

He added that although he did not secure evidence at the scene, he asked the police to investigate the matter in consideration of the urgency and seriousness of the matter as it received media attention.

In order to operate an officetel as a shared accommodation, it is necessary to report to the district office in charge of public hygiene business with facilities and facilities in accordance with the Public Health Act, but suspicions have been raised that Moon is operating an illegal lodging business in Yeongdeungpo-gu without a separate report.
