The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will take voluntary corrective action after manufacturing defects were found in more than 189,000 vehicles manufactured, imported, and sold by Hyundai Motor, Mercedes-Benz Korea, BMW Korea, and Ford Sales Service Korea.

117,569 units of four models, including Hyundai Motor's Grand Starex, will be recalled from tomorrow (25th) due to the possibility of fire due to the lack of durability of the electronic control hydraulic system.

58,155 units of four models, including Genesis G70, will take corrective action from the 31st as the vehicle can stop while driving due to lack of durability of pressure control parts in high-pressure fuel pumps.

5,776 cars of five models, including Mercedes-AMG GT 434MATIC+, imported and sold by Mercedes-AMG GT 434MATIC+, were pointed out about the possibility of fire due to design errors in transmission wiring connectors.

In addition, 4,748 units of five models, including GLE 300d 4MATIC, were declared nonconformity with safety standards because the width of the vehicle notified was different from the actual width.

Corrective action has been underway for these 10 Mercedes models since yesterday (23rd).

BMW Korea's 2,400 units of 14 models, including 530ixDRIVE, have been recalled since the 22nd due to the lack of durability of parts that transmit rotational force between steering shafts.

In addition, Ford's 1,219 Lincoln Nautilus units have been in corrective action since the 18th due to a problem in which all side window glass prevention functions do not work under certain conditions due to a vehicle door control software error.

You can check whether the vehicle is subject to a recall and specific defects by entering the vehicle number and vehicle identification number at the Automobile Recall Center.
