The National Coalition for the Prevention of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities held a press conference in front of the Human Rights Commission in Jung-gu, Seoul, today (24th) denouncing Minister Kim for making disparaging remarks on the disabled and received a petition.
They argued that Minister Kim, who attended the parliamentary audit on the 8th, wrote expletives (byeongsin) to the effect that he cannot avoid saying what he has to say in his military uniform, which constitutes disparagement of the disabled.
He also pointed out that it is not a true apology for what Minister Kim said was regrettable that the expression was excessive.
