Foreign substances are detected in some contact lens cleaning fluids, so consumers need to be careful.

As a result of a test survey of 11 contact lens cleaning solutions by the Korea Consumer Agency, foreign substances such as white grains were detected in the "Dream Eye Liquid" product.

In addition, the number of "aerobic microorganisms" that reproduce well in the presence of oxygen exceeded the standard of 100 in the products of "Multipurpose Force Solution that is comfortable for my eyes," "Neo Plus Gold," and "Friends Pro B5," including this product.

The agency said the four companies carried out voluntary recalls in July following the agency's recommendation.

In addition, the company explained that one product of "The View Solution" contained less content than indicated, so the company took measures to recover it.

In terms of product performance, two products, 'Aosep Plus Liquid' and 'Optipri Express Liquid', have sterilization functions, and are relatively excellent in removing proteins deposited on the lens.

In addition, the "MediLens Multi-Liquid" product was considered a so-called "cost-effectiveness" product in terms of cleaning performance and price.

The product price differed by up to 13 times from a minimum of 286 won per 100 ml to a maximum of 3,824 won.

Detailed comparison information is available on the 'Consumer 24 (www.consumer.go.kr )' website.
