The corporation said it has removed molds from Dokdo sculptures installed at three stations, including City Hall Station on Line 2, Gimpo Airport Station on Line 5, and Itaewon Station on Line 6, and reinstalled sculptures restored through color correction and lighting improvement.
In addition, three places, Anguk Station and Jamsil Station, which previously removed Dokdo sculptures, have installed 85-inch wall-mounted TVs to display real-time Dokdo images, and Gyeongbokgung Station is holding Dokdo Photo Exhibition.
Baekho, president of the Seoul Transportation Corporation, said, "I hope that the model and real-time video of Dokdo encountered on the subway will serve as an opportunity to engrave the meaning of Dokdo once again."
