With the U.S. presidential election just two weeks away, more than 26 million voters have already voted in advance.

Former U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who expressed strong distrust in early voting, also said he would participate in the presidential election.Citing data from the University of Florida Elections Research Institute on the 23rd (local time),

Reuters reported the highest level ever, with the number of early voters exceeding 26.5 million as of 8:45 p.m. ET.

Pre-voting rates in contested states are generally high, with North Carolina and Georgia, in particular, seeing a fast increase in voters with the start of early voting last week.

As the voting procession exceeded expectations, with early voting turnout in each state recording the highest ever, former President Trump also encouraged it.

Asked in a phone interview with Fox News Radio if he would vote early in Florida, former President Trump said, "I will vote early, I will vote early."

He also expressed his desire to win New York, the Democratic stronghold, saying that New York, the largest city in the United States, was occupied by immigrants.
